Licensed Mental Health Professional Job Summary We're seeking qualified mental health professionals to work in conjunction with our LMHP's.
Job Responsibilities Provide community support work to recipients, as assigned Provide individual and/or group counseling to recipients, as assigned May provide group psychosocial Skills Training to recipients, as assigned Participate in staff training assignments, as requested Assess, review or monitor a recipient's status in relation to rehabilitation Identity, report, and maintain weekly appointments for community resources Submit accurate, legible, and complete weekly counseling notes and service logs Arrange appointments and transportation for recipient's psychiatrist visits Participates in the agency's Performance Improvement Initiative Attend/conduct weekly staffing Assist and positively interact with other team members Works independently, as needed Function well in crisis Accept supervision Return Calls promptly Assist with other projects related to agency operation as requested Attends all scheduled staff trainings, team meetings, etc.
Participates in ongoing trainings, growth, and change Understands, acknowledges and agrees to adhere to Medicaid Acknowledges responsibility to participate in agency growth Job Skills and Qualifications Required (one of the following) Master of Social Work Degree or Master of Arts Degree in Mental Health-related field Master of Science in Mental Health-related field Exceptional interpersonal skills and a compassionate nature Preferred A minimum of 15 hours of graduate level course work and/or practicum experience in applied intervention strategies/methods designed to address behavioral, emotional, and/or mental problems.
These hours may be obtained as a part of or in addition to the Master's degree.
