RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS 1.
Maintain close, positive relationships with the key accounts in each assigned portfolio throughout the year.
2.
Conduct campaign presentations to companies, volunteers and individuals as assigned.
3.
Travel to meetings, presentations, and volunteer events throughout the United Way Southeast LA area as needed.
4.
Provide liaison support between RD/MKT staff and Hands On New Orleans in planning and executing large-scale and corporate volunteer events.
5.
Develop and maintain creative strategies to transition UWSELA's volunteers into donors and vice versa.
6.
Manage ANDAR Donor Database entry and administration relating to assigned campaign accounts and volunteer tracking.
7.
Support with cross functional IRMA Team helping to manage individual relationships with donors throughout the seven parish region.
8.
Support Chief Strategy Officer and Vice President of Resource Development with regular administrative tasks.
9.
Manage UW's Mission Ignition program, student board and fundraising efforts to support UWSELA's mission.
10.
Support Hospitality Cares Program by conducting presentations and submitting financial records.
11.
Support Events by overseeing sponsorship solicitation and follow up.
12.
Ensure donor and volunteer database integrity for the purpose of tracking and generating accurate reports.
RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT JOB QUALIFICATIONS 1.
College degree is normally required although 1-3 years of solid sales/fund-raising/volunteer coordination experience may be considered.
2.
Possess analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
3.
Proficiency in database administration, prospect and constituent management, data imports and exports, developing reports.
4.
This position requires skill in project planning and coordination between departments internally, as well as donors and volunteers externally.
5.
Must be able to organize and prioritize work, be proactive, take initiative, resolve problems, follow through, and simultaneously manage multiple priorities to ensure goals are met in a timely manner.
6.
Skill in using most primary office software packages including Microsoft Office (WORD and Excel included) 7.
Must be able to maintain a high attention to detail while being highly organized and having the ability to work without close supervision.
8.
Must be available to work a regular Monday-Friday workweek with occasional early morning, evening and weekend availability.
9.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to give polished presentations.
10.
Unquestioned confidentiality with sensitive financial and personnel information and issues.
11.
Must possess valid driver's license and reliable transportation with insurance at or above Louisiana minimum requirement.

This position is currently remote with some on-site office and event work.
Resource Development employees also have in-person meetings at area businesses.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
