00 pm Education, Qualifications & Skills:
Master's Degree in ABA or related field Board certification in behavior analysis (BCBA) Licensed Behavior Analyst in Louisiana or eligible for immediate licensure Experience working in a clinical setting preferable Strong attention to detail for data collection and strong aptitude in professional writing/report writing Positive team player and energetic professional; desire to work in a supportive environment and contribute positively to maintain this environment Strong organizational and time management skills along with the ability to manage multiple tasks Excellent clinical judgment and creative thinking skills Ability to communicate appropriately given the circumstances of the situation and individuals involved Ability to train others (parents, staff) in basic principles of ABA Essential Duties &
Responsibilities:
Develops new individual programs; supervises implementation of new programs Updates and supervises existing programs Creates individualized behavior support and intervention plans Monitors implementation of behavior support plan and provides feedback as necessary Supervises all aspects of programming implementation including supervising therapists/RBTs in such a way that creates a positive learning environment for all Collaborates with staff by seeking the expertise of others when needed (BCBAs, therapists) and reciprocates this support to staff members seeking help/guidance Assists with functional assessments/analyses Creates data sheets, logs data, creates graphs as needed Writes progress reports Creates or contrives teaching opportunities in the natural environment; is comfortable teaching away from the table and encourages therapists on his/her team to do the same Participates in assessment process and writes programming portion of the assessment, as needed Provides 1:
1 ABA therapy as needed Provides information about programming and communicates behavior analytic terms/concepts to parents in a way they can understand, i.
