Contracts Analyst

Insight Global is seeking a Contracts Analyst for our Institutional Research clients in New Orleans, LA! This individual will be joining the clinical sponsored projects administration team to support grants and contracts.
Responsibilities include regulatory and policy compliance and negotiation for subcontract agreements and pre award administrative activities for a number of academic departments.
Strong written and verbal communication required and working knowledge of federal regulations.
Main responsibilities include reviewing, analyzing, and drafting complex research agreements, administration for post award activities and administration with the Institutional Review Board (IRB).
This is a permanent opportunity with great benefits! - Master's Degree in Science, Engineering, Business or Law - Legal Background - Knowledge of contract law or contract negotiations - Experience in Medical Research environment for IRB and Federal Regulations related to human subjects' research- Bachelor's Degree in related field, or High School Diploma with 10 years experience - 5 year's experience with grants and contracts administration or clinical research administration - Contract experience with terms such as confidentiality, intellectual property, financial implications of payment terms or liability issues - Strong written and verbal communication - Ability to work on multiple contracts to completion Recommended Skills Administration Clinical Research Clinical Works Communication Confidentiality Contract Law Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
