Secret Cyber Analyst (A&A)

Insight Global is looking for a Secret cleared A&A Cyber Analyst to join the team out of New Orleans, LA in support of a Federal client.
The Analyst will be responsible for the following:
Perform all required and approved RMF process steps as described in the applicable RMF Process Guide (RPG) Provide System Technical Implementation Guide (STIG) guidance to IT Engineers and System Administrators Provide A&A assistance and guidance to A&A resources for the assigned Information System (IS) Develop Memorandum for Record (MFR) to support Change Management procedures Capture required data, information, and updates from the assigned IS to support Cloud migration and modernization efforts Assist with security control assessments and security testing to achieve an ATO or to conduct annual security reviews Assist with refining security requirements for the assigned IS Ensure the assigned IS operates in accordance with the approved Security Authorization Package and ATO Analyze Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) findings to provide recommendations for remediation Manage system vulnerabilities (ACAS, STIG, SCAP etc.
) and create associated Risk Management documents such as Plans of Actions and Milestones (POA&Ms) Implement and enforce DoD/DON cybersecurity policies and procedures as defined by the customer Identify key stakeholders in RMF efforts to ensure system documentation reflects current system security configurations to include hardware and software components; data flow; interconnections; and ports, protocols, and services, etc.
Assist customer program offices in interpreting and applying risk mitigation strategies Bachelor's Degree in IT, Cyber Security, Computer Science, or related field preferred and two years of experience 2
years of experience involving cybersecurity policies, procedures, and processes, including RMF and NIST 800-53 Knowledge of network technologies/protocols and security concepts Experience with AWS cloud environments preferred Strong comprehension of Information Security practices to include identifying risks, emerging cyber security threats, and risk mitigation Secret clearance or higher preferred 8570 compliance (Active Security and OS certifications) Experience performing cybersecurity assessments using standards such as CIS Benchmarks, DISA STIGS, etc.
Experience using DoD Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) suite Experience using Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) interface Broad technical experience related to IT operations, networks, OS's, and system administration Commitment to continuous development and improvement Experience using MS office tools such as Excel, Word and Visio Experience working with security engineers to review compliance scans Strong written and oral communication skills Ability to work cooperatively in a multi-functional team environment (team player) is a must A strong sense of urgency including self-governance on task priority Eagerness to learn with a quality, detailed-focus is essential Ability to collaborate with awareness and responsiveness to customer needs Recommended Skills Assessments Benchmarking Change Management Communication Curiosity Customer Demand Planning Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

Don't Be Fooled

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
