Sales Coordinator

As a Sales Coordinator, you will fill a pivotal role in supporting your hotel's financial goals through supporting and learning the daily operations of the Sales and Marketing department.
As a member of the team, you will assist in selling guestrooms, catering services, and banquet facilities as directed by the Director of Sales.
This role will allow you to learn and prepare for a rewarding career in hotel sales! You will perform general office duties to support Sales & Marketing (e.

, filing, typing, faxing, copying, ordering supplies).
Prepare sales-related documents throughout the sales process.
Gather materials and assemble sales brochures.
Assist the Sales Managers with accurately forecasting revenues for the next month by the 25th of the month.
Produce sales department reports on a timely basis and analyze short-term fluctuations and direct selling activities to maximize revenues.
Participate in the preparation of the marketing action plan each year for the following year.
Actively sell, conduct site visits, and provide exceptional service to internal and external guests.
Ensure the hotel staff is knowledgeable about all sales programs and key accounts.
Fundamental Requirements A high school diploma or equivalent education is required, with a college degree helpful.
Clear, effective verbal and written English communication skills are essential.
This position requires excellent organization skills and attention to detail.
The ability to operate a telephone, computer, and various software is expected, with Microsoft Word and Excel knowledge.
A general understanding of sales operations is also helpful.
Comply with all quality and safety standards.
Move, lift, carry, push, pull, and place objects weighing less than or equal to 10 pounds without assistance.
Perform other job duties as requested by Supervisors.
