Responsibilities:
Conduct tests and document results Build and test modular belts and components Execute product performance and application tests Prepare samples and run material property tests Assemble mechanical devices such as new test equipment Maintain devices and machines including existing test equipment Maintain workshop and test areas including the enforcement of housekeeping standards Provide workshop safety training (saws, drill press, belt sander, etc.
) Provide training on the operation of test equipment as neededRequirements:
High school diploma or equivalent Minimum 2 years' experience in a mechanical/electromechanical trade such as auto, aircraft, or industrial machinery mechanic, installation, or field service technician, etc.
Methodical approach to troubleshooting and good analytical skills Basic mechanical expertise, advanced skills preferred Experience with hand tools and power tools Knowledge of electrical panels, motors, drives, and PLCs preferred Computer proficiency in Windows and Microsoft Office applications Must be able to lift 50 pounds safely and be able to work outside at times Willingness to travel on occasion (10% of the time or less) - customers site visits, training, installations, etc.
