Commercial Journeyman Electrician

A Local Electrical Contractor is looking for Journey level commercial electricians for projects located in Slidell, LA and surrounding area.
These are long term positions.

Must be dependable, have good work history, and be able to pass a drug test.
Pay depends on experience, benefits are available after probation period.
Ideal candidate will have a minimum of 5 year electrical/construction work experience.
Pay Rate $20-$25
Job Description:
Manage and Maintain all tools and equipment that is assigned to you.
Follow all OSHA and safety regulations to assure safe working conditions for all involved.
Follow all Electrical Codes that apply to our systems Install EMT conduit accordingly Bending Conduit Read wiring schematics.
Commission Systems.
Install both AC and DC power supply wire, cable, conduit, solar collectors, inverters etc.
Qualifications:
Minimum of 4-5 years' experience in electrical fields.
Valid drivers license with no violations in past 3 years.
Must be able to pass a drug screening before employment.
Must be able to work outside in hot and cold conditions.
Must know wire sizes, amperage and standard electrical codes and techniques.
Must work well with in a team environment.
Be able to manage your time to meet team and company expectations.
Must have PPE (Personal Protection Equipment) Candidates who are Licensed, or hold a Card (even outdated) a plus!! Compensation Schedule:
All base pay is based on experience, quality, dependability, attitude, commitment and given responsibilities.
All employees are trained and encouraged to advance as experience and opportunities allow.
Evaluations are given often to assess performance and advance pay.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
