Junior Mechanical Engineer
A client in New Orleans has an opening for an entry-level Mechanical Engineer.
The Mechanical Engineer must have the ability to multi-task, organize and prioritize work.
They will work in a fast-paced environment involving multiple projects, collaborating with team members.
The Mechanical Engineer will be responsible for creating line lists, tie-in list, equipment lists while continuing to maintain them.
They will assist in purchasing of mechanical equipment, provide construction support, mark-up and manager P&IDs, along with checking and drawing reviews.
This is a one year contract to hire role in New Orleans.
Minimum Requirements- 0-5 years of engineering experience (available for new grads)- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering- Excellent Communication Skills-Proficient in Microsoft Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project) Desired Skills-Pipe Flow-Navisworks-Caesar II- EIT-Experience with industrial design, mining, or plants Recommended Skills Communication Industrial Design Mechanical Engineering Microsoft Excel Microsoft Power Point Microsoft Softwares Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
