Bridge Inspection Engineer

We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Bridge Inspection Engineer in our New Orleans Metro Area office.
In addition to carrying out bridge inspection responsibilities associated with being a Team Leader, this position shall be responsible for orchestrating and managing all aspects and personnel of the inspection and reporting phases of the project as well as performing Quality Control duties.

Responsibilities Carry out bridge inspection responsibilities associated with being a Team Leader.
Instruct Assistant Team Leaders and other inspection staff on a daily basis and assign inspection tasks and report writing tasks.
Orchestrate and manage all aspects and personnel of the inspection and reporting phases of the project as well as perform Quality Control duties.
Plan and scope field inspection activities and ensure that the inspection conforms to Federal, State & Client standards as well as H&H's own standards for bridge inspection and evaluation.
Serve as the Point of contact for the client, subconsultants, subcontractors and inspection equipment vendors.
Engage in all phases of the project and communicate the findings, results and progress directly to the client.
Requirements Bachelor of Science in Engineering Louisiana PE 5-10 years of experience related to bridge inspectionNHI Safety Inspection of In-Service Bridges certification and/or current refresher certification Proficiencies and relevant experience in Excel and Microsoft Office applicationsStrong interpersonal and written communication skillsAbility to read and interpret construction plans, specifications and any special provisionsBenefitsWe are offering a professional work environment, competitive salary, benefits package, and 410(k)EOE M/F/ DISABILITY/VETS Recommended Skills Bridge Building Communication Construction Microsoft Excel Microsoft Office Networking Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
