Law Firm Business Development Coordinator

lawyer firm with 12 offices across the Gulf Coast, is seeking a highly motivated individual to join the firm as a Business Development Coordinator.
This role will work closely with the Director of Business Development and the entire Marketing & Business Development team, as well as with attorneys and other professionals at the firm, to support the firm's overall business development efforts.
The successful candidate will be a quick learning team player, with excellent organizational skills and an aptitude for technology.
Location - New Orleans, Louisiana; will consider other Phelps office locations including Tampa, Florida, Dallas/Fort Worth or Houston, Texas for the right candidate.
Responsibilities:
The main duties of the Business Development Coordinator will revolve around supporting the Business Development leads for the firm's 6 practice areas and 20 working groups.
Specific responsibilities will include, but will not be limited to, the following:
Assisting with pitches, proposals, and RFP responses.
Researching and identifying a variety of proactive business development opportunities, including relevant trade associations / conferences; speaking engagements; expert commentary; and other outreach / engagement opportunities.
Compiling market research and competitive intelligence to support various practice and working group initiatives.
Assisting in the development and drafting of relevant award submissions, including Chambers USA.
Drafting content and profiling matter summaries for the firm's experience management platform, Foundation.
Updating touch points and deal stages in the firm's CRM system, HubSpot, and working with the firm's third-party vendor on day-to-day data entry.
The Business Development Coordinator will also work closely with the Director of Marketing on various joint projects, such as calculating ROI from firm events and sponsorships and facilitating follow-up on resulting business development opportunities.
Requirements
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, or related field.
Experience working within a professional services firm.
Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline driven environment.
Ability to work with team members across multiple offices.
Self-directed and able to manage multiple projects at one time.
Superior project management skills.
Strong writing, communication, and collaboration skills.

Salary - Commensurate with experience.
Travel - Up to 20% depending on location.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
