Job DescriptionAECOM has a position opening for a Process Engineer to support our growing Energy Business Line.
For this role, AECOM offers the freedom and flexibility to work remotely and/or be located at a variety of Energy offices located in multiple locations across the United States.
This is an excellent career opportunity for an engineer with a strong technical background and looking to grow into a project leadership role.
Our team provides a wide range of process engineering services across markets sectors including oil and gas refining, industrial processes (chemical, petrochemical, food and beverage) and future and renewable fuels (hydrogen, RNG, biogas, carbon capture, green ammonia).
We are looking for an enthusiastic individual to with a process background to promote our skills to new clients and maintain our existing client base.
Qualified candidates will have a strong background in ammonia production coupled with some project leadership experience.
The successful candidate will have an understanding and demonstrated experience in process engineering and technology principles and is very familiar with the design and construction of industrial infrastructure.
She/he will be expected to work successfully within a team environment and be able to communicate effectively with other project team members and customers.
He/she will have a high level of initiative, motivation, and displays drive, energy and enthusiasm for getting things done.
The responsibilities of this role also include, but may not be limited to, the following:
Perform engineering analyses and design under the direct supervision of experienced and licensed professional engineers Provide engineering support for multi-discipline design projects from work scope development until the completion of construction Develops new and innovative solutions to production improvement opportunities that accomplish business objectives including improving safety, quality, or efficiency for our clients Troubleshoot and recommend cost-effective solutions to problems, including those that arise during design and construction phases.
Assist with internal and external presentations Review systems from a safety standpoint Evaluate and apply applicable design code requirements Travel to project site and meetings as needed Assist with productions of drawing and documents Develop technical specifications, plans, and details DCS-EnergyAECOM's Energy practice provides a wide range of services from consulting and engineering design to energy engineering, energy procurement and construction (EPC) for power, energy efficiency, and renewable energy clients.

QualificationsMinimum Requirements Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from ABET accredited college or university 4
years of relevant experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education.
Relevant experience in Ammonia (NH3) production plants Preferred Qualifications Preferred minimum six (6) years of experience Experience in renewables:
Hydrogen, RNG, Biogas, Gasification, Carbon Capture Experience in ammonia production Strong competency in principles of chemical engineering Previous exposure to the creation and development of heat and material balances, process calculations, process flow diagrams, piping and instrumentation diagrams and equipment lists Development of process models Experience with simulation software like Hysys, ProMax or Aspen

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
