Ensure all associates are trained and following all standard operating procedures.
Enforce company safety standards and ensure that associates are complying with policies and procedures to reduce accidents and create a safe working environment.
Achieve customer metrics to ensure performance goals are successfully met, decrease incident rates, comply with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
Develop a working knowledge of the Warehouse Management System and has the ability to provide front-line support of problems and issues.
Open and/or close and secure the building as directed Maintain legible and accurate records or logs as required Review documents prepared by associates of the work group for accuracy and legibility Skilled at balancing multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment Communicate effectively with management about their assigned areas Assist with driver check-in.
Requirements Experience as a lead or supervisor in a warehouse environment.
High School Diploma or equivalent Ability to operate powered pallet jack safely and efficiently.
Good written and verbal communication skills Ability to follow work procedures and safety rules Computer literate with general knowledge of normally utilized software Ability to work a flexible schedule to meet business needs Bi-lingual English/Spanish a plus All applicants must successfully pass a criminal background and drug test The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
