Now hiring in New Orleans, LAGulf Coast States --- Working NIGHTS Telecom Experience Required Level 3 Installer Essential Job Functions:
o Basic knowledge of AC/DC power and installationo Understand and use established safety requirements/procedures for equipment, ESD, power, & radiationo Install frames, cabinets, and miscequipment o Install cables, power, inter-cabinet, alarm punch-downo Able to follow established procedures and resolve any site issues i.e.:
material and engineering discrepancieso Measure and mark floors, position and assemble iron work and cable racko Drill floors, install raised floors, install anchors, level, align and secure equipment including earthquake requiremento Able to run Cabling, Fiber, Coax, and properly secure to appropriate locationso Solid work ethic, capable of self-directed worko Adhere to all Telecom Standards and Practices Education/Certifications:
o CPR First Aid o ESD protection course o Safe Lifting Practices course Experience/Minimum Requirements:
o High School Diploma o Valid Driver's License Other Skills/Abilities:
o Able to work without constant supervisiono Able to lift 50 pounds o Able to climb a ladder and work in high places o Maintain good housekeeping practices o Able to competently use basic hand tools o Able to read simple mechanical, electrical, MOPs, JIMs, and instructional documentation o Possess good interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team environment o Aware of procedures for working around and on in service equipment o Know standard Telecom color code o Basic knowledge of AC/DC power and installation o Customer service orientation with a strong problem-solving approach - strong interpersonal skills Recommended Skills Assembly And Installation Cpr Customer Service Drilling Operations First Aid And Preparedness Hardworking And Dedicated Apply to this job.
