NVOCC ANALYST



The NVOCC analyst is responsible for the daily contract management, Cargo NOS/FAK pricing, and service responsibility for both internal and external customers of assigned NVOCC accounts.


ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS/DUTIES


Provide rate requests, price setting, amendment updates, and bid reviews, processing, and updating.


GRI updates.


Rating issues review and reconciliation.


Process Improvement.


Performance Tracking.


QUALIFICATIONS ESSENTIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES


Ability to work in a fast paced, demanding and cross functional environment


Able to work independently


Analytical problem-solving skills


Interpersonal communication skills, articulate and appropriate verbal; ability to produce and present effectively to internal and external customers


Strong computer literacy required in Microsoft Office applications


Ability to maintain confidentiality and ensure compliance with internal regulations and international shipping laws


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


Bachelor's degree in business, finance or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience


Requires 3-5 years of relevant transportation experience with a Freight Forwarder, NVOCC, 3PL, or Ocean Shipping Line

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
