manager
in the New Orleans, LA area. This
position
supports the safety and health activities of the Brock Group through proactive involvement in the enforcement and implementation of safety programs to prevent or correct unsafe conditions on multiple
job
locations. Works under minimal supervision.

Primary Duties:
Supervises EH&S Site Supervisors
Tracks and maintains area incident trends and statistics
Oversees proper completion and submission of EH&S incident investigations/reports
Acts as liaison with client and Brock Operations personnel to ensure compliance with client expectations
Promotes EH&S awareness and responsibility through safety meetings, communications, onsite visits and training programs
Establishes and maintains electronic record keeping for all training activity
Manages or assists with the management of injury case management
Recruits, retains, and supervises projects based EH&S personnel to assist project teams with EH&S management, as needed
Conducts scheduled safety council meetings
Conducts periodic audits of potentially hazardous work areas, practices, procedures and process operations
Provides oversight of subcontractor pre-qualification process and ensures the proper indoctrination of all subcontractor personnel
Develops and implements Job Hazard Analysis and Safety Incentive Programs
Minimum Required
Qualifications:
College degree (preferred)
7
years direct field industry experience
Certifications preferred; OSHA 500, OSHA 501, ASP, CSP, CSM, etc.
Willing to attend conferences, meetings and workshops to keep up-to-date on new safety methods and procedures or to maintain required level of certification
Knowledge of Microsoft Office; strong
computer
skills is a must
Frequent travel to regional offices and/or job sitesEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
