SAP BASIS Administrator
Position Description:
The position is responsible for providing both system and application administration to ensure the stable installation and operation of SAP systems and components running on Linux operating systems. Currently using NetWeaver 7.0 and 7.3. This includes securing, patching, and system tuning at the application, and database levels. The SAP BASIS Administrator will also be responsible for frequent interfacing with functional and project teams as well as with other IT Infrastructure teams such as help desk, server, and database support. Regular on-call and off-hour support is required.
Must be able to obtain clearance to work in the government sector
Required Skills:
SAP ABAP Basis Administration of ECC 6.04, CRM 7.02 and/or BW 7.3.
SAP NW 7.0/7.3 Java Portal configuration with SSO and third party external authentication.
SAP Dual Stack PI administration on either NetWeaver 7.1 and/or 7.3
SAP Solution Manager install, configuration and setup for Central Monitoring and DB management
Building new SAP systems (ABAP & JAVA)
Configuration and support of existing SAP systems.
Performance tuning on Oracle and SAP
Support packs and patches
System upgrades including upgrading NetWeaver versions and new 7.3 builds
Communication interfaces
STMS setup and system connections including executing transports.
Performing Homogeneous System copies.
Technical SAP troubleshooting in support of all SAP application areas/products
24x7 support, including -Go-Live- support for cutover periods
