SCOPE OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Ensure safe, smooth traffic flow of vehicles at the working face of the landfill, or at a transfer station or MRF and enforces publicly posted safety rules.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

Directs vehicles to the proper area of the facility based on site fill plan. Directs trucks in and out of the working area in inclement weather.
Inspects loads for signs of unacceptable waste. May remove unsegregated items such as tires, batteries, and other unacceptable materials.
Follows all safety policies and rules including properly approaching vehicles, making eye contact with drivers to ensure signals are understood, and use of personal protective equipment.
Enforces publicly posted safety rules and un-posted safety standards.
Communicates with equipment operators regarding incoming loads of special waste or other loads requiring special attention.
Follows guidelines and procedures for completing daily closing tasks.
May perform general labor duties including site clean up, yard work and building maintenance.
Performs all other duties and responsibilities assigned by Landfill Manager.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School Diploma or GED>
One (1) to two (2) years experience as a laborer.Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
