Plant Engineer - Tank Farm - RBI - API
Engineering and Inspection Services is seeking a highly motivated Plant Engineer for a large operator in the New Orleans area! The Plant Engineer must have recent experience with tank farms, RBI and working knowledge of API codes! This is a full-time, long-term contract position with competitive pay and benefits.
Duties
Plant reliability monitoring
Equipment strategy reviews
Defect investigations
Management of plant improvement modifications
Conduct RBI analysis and prepare/write RBI studies
Responsible to ensure RBI methodology is established for operation plant and it is updated among others after intrusive non-intrusive inspections, shutdowns, debottlenecking and modifications
Requirements
Active TWIC card
Must have authorization to work for any U.S. employer
Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering
5
years O&G experience in aforementioned disciplines
Familiar with RBI software
Familiar with API risk based inspection programs
Working knowledge of ASME BPV Section VIII, ASME B31.3, API 579 and API 653
Preferred candidates will have API 580 or 581 and API 653 certifications
Excellent verbal/written skills for daily communication with operating and maintenance staffEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
