Reliability Engineer

Engineering and Inspection Service has an exciting opportunity for a Reliability Engineer in the New Orleans area. This is a full-time, long-term position with excellent pay and benefits. The Reliability Engineer will provide technical support to assigned areas of responsibility by providing assistance in resolving fixed and rotating equipment operations and maintenance problems.

Daily duties will include:
Develops and reviews equipment specifications and standards for reliability improvement
Assists the inspection department with Quality Control/Quality Assurance services for both shop and field work.
Generates Management of Change (MOC) Documents.
Updates unit records, tabulations and drawings through the MOC Process.
Supports Process Hazard Analysis (PHA) and Hazard and Operability Study (HAZOP).
Executes and implements MOC, PHA and Root Cause Failure Analysis (RCFA), Mean Time Between Failure (MTBF) derived recommendations and audit findings.
Develops basic engineering packages for improvement projects.
Specifies equipment according to standards and established practices prior to purchase.
Develops weekly progress reports and the reliability engineering monthly report, for their respective operating complex, in addition to leading the presentation to the refinery leadership team.
Assists in formulating, implementing, maintaining and auditing Preventive Maintenance (PM) and Predictive Diagnostic (P&M) programs.
Supports turnaround execution activities in the field, as required.
Other duties as assigned.

Required:
Active TWIC card
Must have authorization to work for any U.S. employer
Refinery experience
Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering
5
years of experience in aforementioned disciplines
Skilled team builder with excellent communication skill
Results driven critical thinker and problem solver
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
