Jewelry Designer
A very high end diamond jewelry company is looking for a Jewelry Designer. The ideal candidate/individual will be working as part of a three-person team and will be individually responsible for designing exclusive collections and overseeing production while ensuring quality control with manufacturers from start to finish.
Candidate will be responsible for negotiating manufacturing costs directly with vendors and will liaise with clients on their projects including producing sketches of what the finished piece will look like. Candidate should be able to assess the current inventory and sales and work with the Jewelry Department Head to decide on production needs.
Qualifications: Must Have Jewelry Designer Experience with CAD
5 - 7 years of jewelry design experience
Strong sketching, illustration abilities
Excellent technical knowledge of jewelry production
Proficiency in Photoshop and Microsoft Office
Strong attention to detail
Strong time management skills
Ability to work and communicate effectively with a team
Ability to work in fast paced environment on multiple projects simultaneously
CAD, Rhino or Matrix experiences a must.
